• Weather tonight could be rough, pay attention!

• A lot of changes to the club website, quite a bit of work being done.

• Elected officials announcing plans to getting our lives restarted. Please be safe as we restart. No word just yet on our meetings. Officers are watching the situation closely and we will make an announcement.

• CW Academy has opeinngs for their fall CW classes, please check out their website if you are interested in learning CW.

• Prompt for discussion: What other hobby do you have in addition to amateur radio?

• ARRL has several special event stations coming soon. Check their website HERE for a complete list.

  • If you are interested in a SES, please check their website to confirm that they will be on the air as many of the events are being postponed.

Vice-President KI5DUJ

• As of now, Field Day is still on. No raffle sales or the regular meal. If we are able to meet safely, we will meet and have a casual field day. We will look later in the year for an event where we will have a meal and the raffle.
• Still collect door prize items and we’ll collect them as soon as possible.
• Still need presentations, let us know what you would like to hear.

Secretary AG1TX

• If you are interested in being net control, please let me or one of the officers know.
• Contest University has canceled their “in person” course for this year and have announced a FREE online class via Zoom. Would be good for those of you interested in contesting or as a brush up for Field Day to help our club score.

Treasurer N5GQB

• No debits
• Credits: went to the bank with a couple new member checks.
• Membership data has been turned over to the folks putting the back end together on the website.
  • 61 members
  • Last year roughly 69.
• Nothing to report on the Treasurer’s end.
• Renewals: Not too late to join. Go to website and print out the form and send to me.

• Changes to repeater since we don’t have any night time intermod. Sly and I have been working and changed the following.
  • Enabled tone encode 88.5 to run tone squelch.
  • Extended hang time from .5 to 2 seconds.
  • CW id tone is turned off.
  • Turned down CW id level.

• W5AC tower was totaled in storm a couple of weeks ago. Club is waiting to hear from a couple people as to how to proceed with replacement.
• Club T-shirts available for purchase.
• Ways to support of give to W5AC to help replace their antenna. Directly, through TAMU or even looking into starting an endowment.
