• About a month ago, the late Ray Meech (WA5IWB) donated a Meshtastic node to the club (W5BCS-1)
  • Received another node from him and Gary Baldwin (KF5ZRT)
    • Installed as W5BCS-2 on the east side of town
  • Plan to install a third node on the west side of town soon
  • Preliminary plans to put one on the south side as well

• Fondly remembered him coordinating picoballoon launches
  • Especially the one that ended up not happening at Winter Field Day

• HamClock was the first piece of software I set up, and I use it every day!
• Tailscale allows you to connect to it remotely

• Remember traveling south to watch another balloon launch

  • Old Dell workstation from a flea market
