I do a little soldering and have a couple of fine-point pencil iron with temperature control

My soldering story
- I’ve been soldering for a long time, too
- Really cheap: Lots of low-quality tools
- Recently, I’ve been using a nice Hakko temperature-controlled soldering station and de-soldering gun
- Large 100 W pencil-iron stained glass iron
  - for large pieces of copper sheets or a large connector
- butane-powered iron for field work

Echolink still having trouble
- virtual squelch coming in is not enough to key the handheld radio
- Was working a little over a week ago, but intermittently having trouble
- Has been moved on-site and would be better if it had a direct audio feed into the repeater
- Does someone have time and experience to help?
