  • serial device (for virtually pressing the PTT button)
  • microphone (for listening to the radio on the computer)
  • speaker (for sending a signal to the radio)
• Can configure software to control the rig and send/receive signals
  • e.g., fldigi can do CW, RTTY, and more

• Automatically keys up the radio (VOX mode)
