- Had a weather satellite decoder box a long time ago
- Satellites transmit on 137.62, 137.92, and 138.10
- They beam back pictures of the ground
- N5ZKF: capture audio and can use WXSat software to demodulate

- Was thinking about it due to the recent storms
- Probably came in through the Internet cable
- Any thoughts for protection against lightning strikes from cable transients?
- KC5DWD: unplugging during lightning storm is the safest option
- W5XTT/N5ZKF: try to get a lightning arrester from ISP Supplies
