Question #157 for conversation: In what ways have you been able to bless others this Christmas? In what ways have you been blessed?
(If interested in submitting a weekly question, email n5zkf@arrl.net)
Matthew Barry (KG5LYE)
- was able to get my brother in law a computer for Christmas: he’s been needing a new one for quite some time.
- have also been doing a lot of 3D printing for other people
- got some nice keys for my keyboard and some BNC-to-PL259 adapters
Information Exchange
Lorna Flansburg (KI5FIZ)
- need help with weather station
- Does anyone have any helpful tips before I start setting it up / mounting it?
- Ambient Weather WS-2902 Wi-Fi Smart Weather Station
- Travis Scott (KI5TMS):
- Mine is a series of devices connected via Wi-Fi, so they have to be in range of base station
- Sensors should be positioned such that they don’t get any “interference” from nearby objects
- e.g., temperature sensor shouldn’t be in direct sun or right up against the house, wind sensor shouldn’t be blocked, rain sensor should not have anything over it
- The one you have should be fine out in the sun
- Merry Christmas!
Closing Remarks
- Again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
- Closing this last net of 2023 at 20:23… See y’all next year!
