- Officer election season is coming

- Alternate Radio in the Park idea for next month: Parks on the Air activation
- Washington on the Brazos
- Has been undergoing some major renovation over the years and is currently closed for continuing renovations
- Park has typically remained open, except recently (since they were repaving the roads)
- Supposed to be open again as of yesterday
- Should be open for our planned activation after our October meeting on 2025-10-18
bryanarc.orgis no longer an option for us… The previous owner has renewed it for 10 years

Winter Field Day

- Operating “2I South Texas (STX)”
- The “usual suspects” have agreed to do what they normally do
- Will set up regular committee Zoom meeting
- Looking for volunteers for setup, welcoming, programs, etc.
- Mike Wisby (KA5HIA) in charge of safety and antenna setup
- Note limitations on bands (not 12, 17, 30, or 60 meters)
- Ron Estes (KJ5EFO) in charge of radio setup
- Note: do not change any equipment or settings since everything is pre-configured to work together
- If there are any problems, let someone know
- Change from last year: Logging computers must be on generator power, too.

- We’ll have a short meeting and move to the main meeting room for a club kit build

- We’ll be putting together a tax-exempt group order
- This counts as your RSVP (we won’t buy extras due to high cost)
