  • His wishes: Have a party instead of a funeral

• Club build: fused Power Pole DC distribution box

  • We are on the calendar for November
    • Post was not available September or October
  • Cost will be about $52 per kit
    • Note: due to cost, we are not planning to order extras
  • Sign-up and payment will be sent out via email
• Radio in the Park
  • Usually done in October after club meeting
  • Would there be interest in doing a club Parks on the Air (POTA) activation?
    • Might have lower turnout
    • (Show of hands) still good interest from members
    • Closest park with facilities is Washington on the Brazos
    • Washington County Radio Club would be interested in playing radio, too
  • Semi-related side note: Crossroads Ham Radio Club is expanding
    • Seen activating Huntsville State Park
    • Corpus Christi, up the coast and inland
    • Network of connected repeaters
• Should we try to purchase the bryanarc.org domain?
  • Still in print, shows up on Google, etc.
  • Currently suspended but due to expire 2025-10-09
  • Can pay GoDaddy $100 to seek to acquire it (from themselves) on our behalf
    • Might trigger the current owner to renew it rather than let us obtain it
