Veteran’s Coffee

• American Legion hosts every Thursday, 08:00/10:00
• We provided the donuts on 2023-12-07, 10 members were present
• There are usually kolaches
  • Provided on first/third and second/fourth Thursdays by two different organizations
  • No one is covering the occasional fifth Thursdays (there are four of these each year)
  • Propose that W5BCS sponsor the fifth Thursday, probably not more than $100
  • We are hosted here for free

• The American Legion is definitely worthy of our support
  • consider becoming a member if you are a veteran
  • can join the Sons or Auxiliary (if any parent or grandparent is a veteran)
• Great partnership: our presence has also sparked a lot of interest among Legion members
  • Don Hutchcraft (KE5ADX) has been trying for two years to get a local radio club
